The core of the supercritical high pressure boiler feed pump for power generating unit has the structure of the horizontal middle opening type. The parts of the rotor only include such light elements as impeller, axis sleeve and axis etc, which have helped to reduce the weight of the rotor. The first phase impeller the pump is the double volute vane with low bending deflection and high rigidity. The critical rotation rate at the wet state can reach 10,000 r/min.  The upper and lower volute is of the type of the space flow channel. Because the core of the pump has such features as horizontal middle opening, double volute and self equilibrating mechanism, the force will not levied on the rotor, which is a drawback of the segmental structure.  This new structure can enhance the smooth running of the pump. The core of the pump is made of stainless steel and other parts are made according to ASTM standard.  The impellers are distributed symmetrically with the ability of self equilibrating when the force is levied on the axis. Therefore, no extra equilibrating system is needed, which can help to reduce the leakage and increase the work efficiency and safety.  Without any extra water pipes, this simple structure makes maintenance work easy.  The broad band power supply system can make the pump start working within the shortest period of time.

Product Features:

According to the requirements for thermal power generating units, the most important aspects in the running of boiler feed pumps are the safety, reliability, energy saving, high self-control level and easy maintenance. The double-skin feed pump produced by our company has the structure of axial splitting, horizontal separation in middle, first-level impeller double-suction, secondary-level impeller single-suction and symmetric layout of impeller orientation, which has the following advantages:

1.High Reliability

1) Since impellers are oriented symmetrically and axial forces are self-balanced (the axial forces over 50T when impellers are laid in same directions do not exist any more), the balance mechanism is no longer needed and failure aspects are decreased.
2) Seal rings at all levels of the horizontally middle separated pump case are processed in accordance with rotator deflection, thus rotator axial centre is aligned with stator centre line. Therefore, when the axle is raised up, the clearances between different seal rings of impellers and pump body are guarantied balanced, so that the accidents of bearings burning-in of due to frictions betweens dynamic and static seal rings caused by deflection of feed pump stators at normal situation. In conclusion, pump reliability is highly improved.

2.Hign-efficiency, Good Energy Saving Result

Since the horizontally middle separated pump doesn’t need a balance mechanism, there has no balance leaking losses and the pump reaches a high efficiency. In addition, the structure of non-guided blades in space interval channel creates a high-efficiency area width, which brings a good energy saving result.

3.Good Cavitation Erosion Performance

The double-suction structure of first-level impeller has good anti-cavitation erosion performance, the necessary NPSHr is less than half of the single-suction structure, and thus the feed pump can achieve a stable running status in various working conditions.

4.Easy Maintenance and Less Maintenance Time Needed

Due to the structure of horizontally middle separated inner pump, pump maintenance only requires loosening of the binding bolts of the upper and lower case of the inner pump, which can totally release the whole rotator to be moved out for maintenance. Also, the rotator after dynamic balance operation can be moved into the pump case wholly, without components disassembled one by one. By such ways, the dynamic balance accuracy can be kept and maintenance time is saved, which is only half of the time used for maintenance of traditional sectional pump.
From transmission direction, pump rotary direction is clockwise (can be manufactured of anti-clockwise direction).
In order to ensure pump cavitation characteristics, there has fore pump of low rotary speed mounted.
